Dear Neighbor,
Congratulations to Senator Elfreth and County Executive Alsobrooks!
I want to take a minute to honor and congratulate the amazing women who won their respective primaries this month. First, congratulations to #Maryland Congressional District 3’s next United States Congresswoman, my friend, Sarah Elfreth! She ran a tireless campaign even as she fought in the State Senate for the issues that matter to our community. I can not wait to see her take her dedication and expertise to Congress, and I’m so thrilled to be represented by a Pro-Choice Democratic Woman who cares deeply for my district and our State! I’m still just so happy & flying high for my friend, Sarah!!
I also want to congratulate the incredible Angela Alsobrooks! Her victory last night was historic and a testament to the power of great people running a people-powered campaign! I look forward to fighting with her to protect the Democratic Senate majority in November. Angela is a powerful Pro-Choice woman who has spent her life serving our State, I can’t wait for her to represent Maryland in the United States Senate!
I also want to shout my colleague and longtime friend, Sheila O’Connell, for her AMAZING work running this race!
Finally, I want to thank you and all of the amazing voters of the 3rd Congressional District who helped make history earlier this month. Alongside these amazing women, you made me one of the top vote getters to represent Maryland at the Democratic National Convention as a Biden Delegate. Democracy is on the ballot in November, and I can’t wait to head to Chicago to support President Joe Biden on behalf of Maryland!

Commuter Bus Service Preserved in Annapolis!
Over the past few months, I've heard from hundreds of constituents voicing their concerns over proposed commuter bus cuts that would reduce service to the Annapolis community. Today, the Maryland Transit Administration announced they would be preserving service on ALL 36 routes! Thank you to everyone who submitted testimony during the public comment period, and thank you to all of my amazing colleagues, especially Delegate Marc Korman, Delegate Regina T. Boyce, and Courtney Watson - State Delegate, in the General Assembly who fought alongside me making transportation funding a priority this past session!
