Statement on the Legacy of President Joe Biden

Thank you, President Biden.

Throughout his over 50 years of service to our country, President Biden has always put America first. As President, he led our Nation through a historic pandemic, saving lives and delivering us the strongest economy in the world.

He lowered the cost of prescription drugs, created millions of jobs, and signed the largest climate investment in history into law.

President Biden has championed legislation fighting to end violence against women, and elevated the first woman ever, Vice President Kamala Harris, as his running mate defeating Donald Trump.

He passed the first major piece of gun safety legislation in decades, expanded the child tax credit, and canceled more student debt than any administration in history.

A true patriot, his tremendous legacy is too prolific to distill into one statement, and I am overwhelmed with gratitude for all he has done for our Country.
