Dear Neighbor,
Key Bridge Collapse & Supporting Our Neighbors
Please join me in supporting the Maryland families of the victims from the Key Bridge collapse. Last Tuesday morning, six families lost fathers, sons, brothers, and friends. This tragic and sudden loss is unthinkable. As Maryland recovers from this shock, let's uplift the families who will never truly recover from this week, but help, in any way we can to ease their pain.
How Can We Help?
At this point, there are 5 verified fundraisers for those impacted by the collapse of the Francis Scott Key bridge:
Baltimore Immigrant Community Fund, all money will be distributed to the families impacted by this tragedy. Donate here.
Brawner Builders Inc. started this fundraiser to raise money for the Brawner employees who were on the bridge. GoFundMe.org is supporting this one and will manage the distribution of funds to the victims and/or their families.
LULAC Institute Inc. has started this fundraiser to support the families affected.
This is a verified fundraiser for the family of Jose Mynor Lopez. It was started by Josue Latorre, the owner of a small family business and employer of Isabel Franco, Jose’s wife.
This is the verified fundraiser for the family of Maynor Suazo Sandoval. It was started by Christopher Heller, a friend of the family.

From the Classroom to the Capital!
The 90 day session can be grueling, but it’s important to cherish every moment. I was overjoyed to have my son with me for one of the busiest days last week! As the end of Session gets closer and the pace in the House intensifies, I am thankful he was able to spend a day of his spring break with his Mom at work. This is a Spring break we’ll both remember so fondly. 💙
